Twang Club started as an occasional night where I shared some of my favorite twangy records with friends. It’s now become less occasional and I’ve almost become a real DJ.
I have recently decided to take things to a new level and try my hand at booking some of my favorite bands here at venues in western massachusetts.
There is plenty of great music in Western Mass but when it comes to twangy music it’s almost entirely grassy and folky bands. That’s cool and all but there’s still room for louder and weirder twangy bands.
