Twang Club Updates August 2026
I meant to get this out sooner but it’s been hard to motivate myself to sit in front of a computer after sitting in front of a computer all day at work.
I’ve got a couple events coming up next week.
On Friday Sept 4th I will be spinning records before, between, and after sets played by the wonderful Rosie Porter who is in town for a visit and run of shows.
The show is 6-9p at Incandescent Brewing in Bernardston. I’m not exactly sure when I’ll start but I plan to be there early so if people want to get the twang started I’ll be ready to go by 5 or so.
Rosie will be playing as a duo with Nick on dobro and I assume steel too but don’t quote me on that.
I’ll be spinning all classic honky tonk and related vinyl and of course there will be some old school Dolly.
Then just a couple of days later Twang Club returns to the Rendezvous in Turners Falls on Sunday September 6th.
That is the day before Labor Day so this will be the second of what may become annual Labor Day show. This year I’m changing things up a little and it will be songs about work and songs for “workin’ it.” So once we’ve heard enough songs about miners, cowboys, truck drivers, and waitresses we’ll party down to some country disco and funky tonk.
You can definitely expect both old school and disco Dolly to make an appearance. And for the record I made this flyer before she passed away in case you thought I was cashing in on the saddest day of the year so far.
It’s going to be a fun night and Monday is Labor Day so you can stay out late! No cover but tips and drinks certainly appreciated.

I won’t be putting out a show on Tuesday 9/1 because I need to focus on getting things ready for the Voo show.
